Paul did his second postdoc in Singapore at the centre for quantum technologies in an atom-chip lab of Bjorn Hessmo. There he worked on a Bose-Einstein Condensation (BEC) experiment to trap an ultra-cold gas of Rb87 atoms below an atom-chip.
